Drone Field
Pilots race and practice FPV drones at Open Grove Raceway, a dedicated Drone Field in Oxnard, California. This venue features a permanent course and often hosts MultiGP events. Expect precise, high-speed drone racing action here. The field is available seven days a week, from 9 AM to 7:30 PM.

Know Before You Go
- MultiGP & open practice
- Most FPV race fields are MultiGP-chapter affiliated and run open practice plus chapter race nights. Drop-in fees are usually $5-20 if you bring your own gear.
- Gates and frequencies
- Standard MultiGP gate layouts are 6-foot square, with chevrons and laddered gates. Coordinate VTX frequency on arrival — collisions on the same channel ruin video.
- Bring
- Goggles, transmitter, charged batteries (8-12 for an evening), a small kit for prop swaps, and a folding chair. Most fields are unstructured plots — pack like camping.
