MX-207 in Lyman, Maine, provides an exhilarating motocross experience on an off-road dirt circuit, featuring challenging jumps and berms. As one of 40 tracks situated within 75 miles, this venue is a significant draw for local and visiting riders. The gates are open for action on Thursdays from 2–7 PM, and throughout the weekend on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM–4 PM. Plan your visit to experience some intense off-road racing.

Know Before You Go

Open practice days: Most MX parks run open practice on weekends for $25-50. Sign in at the gate, sign a waiver, and ride your allotted moto groups (typically 30 min on, 30 off).
Required gear: Helmet (DOT or Snell M-rated), goggles, gloves, chest protector, knee/shin guards, boots, and a full-sleeve jersey. Most tracks won't let you ride without all of it.
Class structure: Tracks separate riders by bike size (50cc / 65cc / 85cc / 250cc / 450cc) and by skill (beginner / novice / intermediate / pro). Sessions rotate through the day.
Track conditions: Tracks get watered before sessions and groomed between motos. Soft loam in the morning hardens into ruts by afternoon — adjust suspension and tire pressure.
